NEINVER announces new retailers at Amsterdam The Style Outlets

14 October 2020. NEINVER has confirmed additional top international brands to join Amsterdam The Style Outlets, its first outlet centre in the Netherlands. Premium brand Karl Lagerfeld, fashion and lifestyle brand S. Oliver, the Dutch denim fashion brand Petrol Industries, men’s fashion brand Dstrezzed – which will debut its first outlet location in the Netherlands – and Geox and Skechers will join the centre’s exclusive line-up, which will open to shoppers on 26 November. These are in addition to the brands announced in September, including adidas, Björn Borg, GUESS, New Balance, Nike, O’Neil, PUMA, Salomon and The Kooples.

"We're thrilled to welcome these exclusive brands to our fashion shopping selection and to see that brands are also eager to open their stores with us and be part of this highly anticipated project," said Eduardo Ceballos, NEINVER’s Asset Management Director Southern Europe and the Netherlands. "We look forward to welcoming visitors when we launch on 26 November. The construction is nearly complete and we are busy with the last details and tenants’ fit-out works. The combination of these designer stores with the other amenities will bring a unique shopping experience to the Dutch capital and the region."

Karl Lagerfeld, S. Oliver, Petrol Industries, Dstrezzed, Geox and Skechers will join the outlet centre’s exclusive commercial mix.

The first outlet development in Greater Amsterdam combines a strong catchment area of 12 million people with its proximity to Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport and easy access to the Dutch capital (an 18-minute drive to the city centre) and Haarlem. The centre is located next to Halfweg-Zwanenburg railway station, two stops away from Amsterdam Central Station.

With a village design inspired by traditional Dutch architecture, the centre will feature over 100 stores set across 19,000 m² of GLA and will open for visitors with around 75% occupancy, with more brands scheduled to join the line-up after the opening. Beyond the exclusive commercial mix, NEINVER will offer guests a compelling customer experience, with concierge services and free Wi-Fi among other features. Moreover, 1,000 m² are planned for leisure areas, restaurants with outdoor seating, and walkways to provide a complete shopping experience. The centre will feature 2,230 parking spaces for cars and 200 for bicycles.

This first outlet project in the Greater Amsterdam area entailed an investment of €110 million. It is a joint project between NEINVER, the pan-European company specialised in investment, development and management of property assets – the second-largest outlet operator in Europe and the largest in Spain and Poland – and one of the world’s largest investment managers, Nuveen Real Estate. The opening of the centre will create around 600 direct jobs.

Shop Safe, Stay Safe

From the first day of operation, Amsterdam The Style Outlets is committed to offering visitors a pleasant and safe shopping experience. The new outlet centre will comply with the 'Shop Safe, Stay Safe' guidelines, a blueprint which prioritises the safety and comfort of visitors, to ensure the safest measures against the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Measures will include hygiene protocols, user-friendly disinfection facilities, and monitoring teams.
