María de la Peña

María de la Peña heads up NEINVER’s Legal Department, including the corporate and risk management units, as well as the country-level legal units in the European countries where the company does business.  

María joined NEINVER in 2005 to oversee its legal operations in Italy and since then, she has taken on more and more responsibilities until 2018, when she became head of the Legal Department. With nearly 20 years’ experience, she specialises in real estate law, and corporate and finance transactions, among others. Before coming to NEINVER, she worked at several law firms.  

María de la Peña holds a law degree from San Pablo CEU University, and completed postgraduate work in European law and economics at Pantheon-Sorbonne University in Paris and a General Management Program (PDG) from IESE business School (Madrid). She speaks Spanish, English, French and Italian.
