NEINVER joins Earth Hour initiative with its managed centres in Europe

Madrid. 23 March 2017 – NEINVER, a Spanish company specialised in investment, development and management of property assets—a leading operator of outlet centres in Europe and the largest in Spain and Poland— will join WWF’s Earth Hour initiative next Saturday 25th March through all outlet centres managed in Italy, Spain, France and Poland.  Eight assets under the brand The Style Outlets and five FACTORY centres will dim the lights both at the hallways of the installations and at the parking between 20:30 and 21:30.

Organised for the first time in 2007, Earth Hour has become a global event in which last year participated 178 countries. All kind of buildings around the word turn off their lights for an hour in a symbolic act to raise awareness about energy consumption and fight against climate change.


Through its support to this initiative, NEINVER continues to show its commitment to environment as a key aspect in the development of its activity.

Among other measures, NEINVER has signed this year an agreement to establish the use of electric cars by The Style Outlets centres’ security teams in Spain.

In line with its long-term commitment to sustainability, NEINVER has recently completed BREEAM In-Use recertification of all the outlet centres in Europe under its management for a minimum of 2 years, with scores rising at 92% of the centres. The company was awarded the “BREEAM/GRESB Corporate Investment in Responsible Real Estate” Award at the BREEAM Awards 2017, recognizing NEINVER’s determination to the use of building certifications in managing its portfolio.
